Just to let you know that I am back safe and sound in Blighty, after a very successful weekend in Beijing.
FYI, should you ever be passing through, the Kempinski Hotel is well worth a visit; especially its Bavarian Micro brewery and restaurant, the Paulaner Brauhaus.

All that way just to buy a few low cost carbon credits, have a duck and visit a German hotel?!
ReplyDeleteGood grief Ken, you could at least have have found a snake restaurant or something and tried some local poteen or equivalent.
You could have saved yourself a few hours and flown to Munich instead.
I assume the trip was to do with observing the Olympic preparations ...
