The warden invariably thanks the inmate for his "constructive crticism," ensures all and sundry that the inmate's allegations will be investigated with the utmost vigilance, and then arrranges to have the poor bastard severely beaten, hospitalized, then transferred to some hellhole even worse than the one he's been serving time in.
