Are you a member of an ethnic minority? Do you perceive this to be a hate crime?"

"No I perceive it to be someone nicking my stuff."

"Problem is, sir, we don't have resources in the budget to deal with non-hate crimes, to help you I need to classify it as a hate crime. I am truly put back by this one. It makes me so angry that the police can harrass an 11 yr old boy for one little comment. It is scary to think that a lot of what we say in everyday life might result in a visit from O'Brien's goon squad. Why? Because the eyes and ears for nanny are now the ignorant public who are brainwashed into jumping on the PC bandwagon.

Crap, utter Lassie shit!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8377446.post-14974972626791051372007-04-18T20:11:00.000+01:002007-04-18T20:11:00.000+01:00Perhaps Mr Rawlinson should report that someone br...Perhaps Mr Rawlinson should report that someone broke into his shop and called him "gay"!Some Yahoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12351196281372109140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8377446.post-68101044444631874772007-04-18T15:31:00.000+01:002007-04-18T15:31:00.000+01:00"I've constantly contacted police about break-ins ..."I've constantly contacted police about break-ins at my business and never get a suitable response."

You can't seriously expect the police to waste their time on such trivial matters as break-ins: they have much more serious crimes to deal with, such as schoolchildren calling one another 'gay'.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8377446.post-83408920748284440492007-04-18T15:18:00.000+01:002007-04-18T15:18:00.000+01:00"I've constantly contacted police about break-ins ..."I've constantly contacted police about break-ins at my business and never get a suitable response."

It must be so reassuring to the tax payers of Cheshire to know that their police force is concentrating on such serious crimes! Whatever happened to the old saying,'Sticks and stones may break your bones, but names will never hurt you'? I must say, that I do not know whether this insult was messing about or bullying, but I do believe that any bullying must be dealt with with the utmost severity. However, this is the responsibility of the parents and the school, it is ridiculous and way over the top to involve the police.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
