The alleged plastic waste crisis is a guilt trip being laid on the general public by the government and Z list celebrities.
ReplyDeleteNo individuals make a trip to the seaside or riverbank to dispose of their plastic, but what does happen is that the government pays for the crap to be transported to dodgy countries for destruction.
China and Malaysia used to take the bulk of it, but now it is mainly sent to Poland, Indonesia and Turkey.
To think that the transportation ships don't 'lose' all or the major part of their cargo en route is naive in the extreme.
