The future of the statue of Roman Emperor Constantine, outside York Minster, is being
"looked at" following complaints and the Archbishop of Canterbury’s call
for a review of statues.
For why?
The Roman Empire had slaves!
On that basis I assume the British government will be lodging a claim for reparations from the Italian government, given that some of our citizens were made slaves 2,000 years ago?
