Taxi drivers no longer required to speak English in London.

According to the cities far-left mayor, he has removed the requirements for private hire drivers.

Nanny Khan To Ban Everything

 

A climate change initiative, spearheaded by Sadiq Khan, is recommending against buying more than three items of clothing a year, privately owning a car and flying more than once every three years. 

The C40 Climate Leadership group comprises, in its own words, “a network of nearly 100 mayors of the world’s leading cities that are united in action to confront the climate crisis”, and has commissioned a report making suggestions for how cities can halve their greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. 

Khan chairs the C40 group.

The Wall Street Journal this week highlighted the less highly-publicised proposals in its report, authored in collaboration with the University of Leeds, such as “no meat, no dairy and no private vehicles”. 

Also suggested is travelling by plane only once every three years, which the WSJ compares to the policies of “climate lockdowns”.

The zealots who proselytise the new religion of Net Zero are the enemies of humanity!

Welsh Nanny, in the shape of the ill fitting suit Drakeford, and London Nanny (Khan) are imposing 20mph speed limits in the respective fiefdoms.

They claim that this is for health and safety reasons (ie the usual bollocks).

The actual reason is that their beloved electric vehicles are heavier than petrol ones, as such they tear up the roads something chronic and add to smorgasbord of potholes that infest Britain's road network.

Coming soon they will be asking that a man with a red flag walks in front of cars!

Nanny To Ban Tulse Hill?

 

Nanny is threatening to rename the south London district of Tulse Hill because of its namesake’s links to the slave trade.

A survey by Lambeth council asked residents their views on the names of streets and the area itself as part of a community listening exercise.

It comes in the wake of Nanny Khan’s pledge to hand Londoners £25,000 to decolonise their areas.

Lambeth has begun a review of the borough and streets including Vassal Road, Holland Grove, Foxley Road and Foxley Square and Lord Holland Lane, The Daily Telegraph reported.

The area’s name is derived from Sir Henry Tulse who was lord mayor of London and he was the descendant of the Tulse family whose wealth come from the slave trade.

Wait 'til they hear that London was named by the Romans (who ran an entire empire with slaves)!

Nanny Khan Cancels New Year Fireworks

For reasons best known to himself, Nanny Khan has cancelled London's New Year's fireworks display.

Apparently he is still wetting his bed about Covid.

The cancellation is more than a little bizarre given:

- the display is outside

- London's buses, tubes and trains are all running at the moment

As long as "leaders" such as Khan display fear and dithering, we will never be able to move on from this!

Nanny Khan Imposes Masks on TfL Forever

 

Sadiq Khan has imposed a mask mandate on TfL post as from 19th July when national restrictions end.

The rule will be a “condition of carriage” meaning TfL customers will enter into a contract with them to abide by their rules. 

According to Nanny Khan says that the mask requirement will be maintained “as long as the virus is still with us”. 

Given that Covid will always be with us, this means that his mandate will remain in place until he is removed from office.
