Nanny Brand Throws a Wobbly

Proof that some celebrities/pseudo politicians who claim to seek to improve the lives of others are a tad hypocritical.

I dare say someone will find out the value of Russell Brand's house, and indeed who he rents it from.

  1. With my professional hat on, it appears to me that Mr Brand is a bully. He leaned in to the reporter and placed a hand on his shoulder, he used the finger wagging jesture, so loved by the left, to push home his message, these are all dominant gestures and to be honest, he appeared to have rather bullied the reporter. He also appeared more aggressive in his body language and used deflection when questioned about his own housing arrangements.

I dislike it with a passion, when the state's broadcaster, which I fund, gives air time on Question Time to these so called comedians and other non politicians. If The state's broadcaster struggles to get guests on QT, then I would prefer to see reps from either the smaller political parties or ordinary members of the public.

Tonk, if someone puts a hand on your shoulder in this manner, isn't this technically assault?

I suppose, My Lord, it is technically; the legal system is not my thing to be honest, before I retired, I worked in forensic psychiatry( The mad and bad) and so I am more intune with body language than most people are. Body language is an extremely interesting area and gestures we use every day subconsciously, tend to tell people what we really feel about them and ourselves.

I believe any unwanted touching is an assault unless it is in certain circumstances such as on a sport's field etc where we are deemed to have consented to being touched.

If I ever come within punching distance of Russell Brand he would be in for a bit more than 'unwanted touching', the unfunny, hairy faced git.
