The left don't like democracy. They have been rioting in London, even defacing a war memorial.
ReplyDeleteSocialism will never work because it always runs out of other people's money.
I don't think Mr Cameron really won the election as such.....I suspect people were afraid of a grand socialist coalition with Labour, SNP, Greens, PC and Lib Dems. I suspect peopkle picked Cameron because he was the lesser of the evils....Would you rather be shot, electrocuted or hung would be a similar choice and in the absence of none of the above as an option, most people would chose to be shot quickly.
In view of what is written on this sign, does he seriously think that those who voted Conservative or UKIP are actually going to tell him so? I seriously question the legality of this, after all, we are (supposedly) a democracy.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your assessment as to why the Conservatives "won" the election, Tonk. Interestingly, they only won with 36.9% of the vote, hardly an overwhelming majority!
As for the defacement of a war memorial, that was utterly appalling, and I hope the perpetrators are caught quickly and given exemplary prison sentences. Whatever one's political views, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER for criminal damage of that sort, nor for rioting and assaulting the police. So, the result wasn't what they wanted? TOUGH! In a democracy that is bound to happen from time to time. One has to accept the result irrespective of whether the party one voted for was elected or not.
Or you could go in, flash your cash, tell him you voted Tory and that he isn't getting any of your good Tory money and leave.
ReplyDeleteI would have thought any customers money is good money.
