Kids have been brainwashed into thinking that the world is coming to an end and it is all the fault of the older generations.
Well, here is some news for them.
When we were kids we didn't feel the need to carry a plastic bottle of water everywhere and every day.
We learnt how to drink from a glass without spilling it all over ourselves without the need for a straw.
We used a shopping trolley and not carrier bags.
We brought sweets by the ounce in paper bags and not plastic tubes.
But as an old, white man they would not listen to me.
And the sad fact is that they would not listen to the same reasoning from a young, black girl.
