BBC Renames The Second World War

 The BBC news is currently doing a series of mini segments in their 10PM show relating the tales of various presenters' relatives during the Second World War.

Fair enough and perfectly reasonable.

However, for reasons best known to the BBC, they have renamed the Second World War as "The People's War"!

Will someone please tell the BBC that people have been fighting in wars long before and after the Second World War (eg the First World War, the Korean War, The Falklands War, the Gulf War etc).

Until the Terminators take over, people will continue to fight in and die in wars!

Auntie Bans Singing Rule Britannia - #DefundTheBBC

Every Proms season Auntie has a go at getting rid of Rule Britannia. This year, thanks to Covid and BLM she has managed to remove the singing part, and will simply play the music to it.

Auntie fails to understand that the Last Night of The Proms is meant to be a hearty party, where people join in communal singing of songs from the past at full volume. The singing of Rule Britannia etc does not mean that those who sing it are intent on rebuilding the empire or bringing back slavery.

It is clear that the BBC is run by a miserable bunch of bastards.

However, they won't be around for much longer, the licence fee will be abolished by the end of this year.

The list of stupid things that Auntie has banned grows ever longer, as today the "Germans" episode of Fawlty Towers has been pulled from UKTV (owned by Auntie) because Auntie likes to virtue signal.

Unsurprisingly most people, including John Cleese, think that this is stupid.

Well, Auntie is stupid and will be defunded!
