Shades of Grey

Contrary to what Nanny, Disney and saccharine mainstream media outlets would have us believe, there is no such thing as good and evil (black or white); when it comes to global power games there are merely shades of grey:

"At least 54 countries including Syria, Iran, Sweden, Iceland, and UK offered CIA “covert support” to detain, transport, interrogate and torture suspects in the years following the 9/11 attacks, according to a new report.

­The 213-page report released by the Open Society Justice Initiative (OSJI), a New York-based human rights organization, documents wide-ranging international involvement in the American campaign against Al-Qaeda.

The report, titled Globalizing Torture, provides a detailed account of other countries covertly helping the US to run secret prisons, also known as ‘black sites’ on their territory and allowing the CIA to use national airports for refueling while transporting prisoners. 

Countries listed in the report include many from the Middle East and Europe. 

The OSJI identifies Syria and Iran as two participants of the CIA’s rendition program.
“Syria detained, interrogated, and tortured extraordinarily-rendered individuals. It was one of the ‘most common destinations for rendered suspects’,” states the report. “The CIA rendered at least nine individuals to Syria between December 2001 and October 2002.”"

Prats of The Week - The Home Orifice

Tis a Monday morning, and with a song in my heart I am happy to award my prestigious, and internationally renowned, "Prats of The Week" Award to Nanny's Home Orifice.

What have they done to deserve this?

Easy peasy, they have issued a booklet (at our expense) telling their own staff not to eat food in front of Muslim colleagues during Ramadan; lest it makes them feel hungry.

Aside from the sheer bollocks waste of time and money that this absurd piece of "homespun" advice has inflicted, it is also highly offensive and patronising to Muslims as it singles them out as being "different".

Didn't Hitler do the same thing with Jewish people?

It is also somewhat ironic that the Home Orifice is so concerned about the possible "hurtfulness" of eating in front of Muslims who are fasting.

Is this not the same Home Orifice that, as part of the Nanny state, gave approval to the US to use the UK for rendition flights (whereby Muslim terror suspects were snatched from various foreign locations, and taken to G'tmo to be waterboarded without due legal process)?

What's worse?

Waterboarding, or eating in front of someone who is fasting?

Maybe eating in front of a fasting Muslim will be added to the CIA torture manual?

Rendition Airways

Gosh, what a surprise!

David Millipede, Nanny's foreign secretary, told MPs that contrary to "earlier explicit assurances" two flights landed at Diego Garcia, the British Indian Ocean territory where the US has a large air base, in 2002. He said the flights had been mistakenly overlooked in previous US internal inquiries carried out at the UK's behest.

Ah, "mistakenly overlooked"; yes that must be the reason for the earlier denials!

Seemingly the US only found out about the renditions when CIA flight crews were interviewed directly. John Bellinger, chief legal adviser in the US state department, said CIA officials were now "as confident as they can be" that no other detainees had been flown through Britain on secret rendition flights over the past six years of America's so called "war on terror".

Great, so that's alright then isn't it?

Errmmm...could Nanny possibly answer one teeny weeny question please?

If this has only just come to light, how come I wrote about rendition way back in July 2006, and took the piss out of it in December 2005?

-Was I in a time warp?

-Am I member of the CIA?

I don't think so!

I wrote about it because the whole farking world knew that rendition was being conducted using British bases, it was only Nanny and her chums in "W's" administration that chose to deny it!

What else is Nanny not telling us?

A lot more is going to come out about this.

Ooh The Irony Of It All!

I love a bit of irony me, yes I really do like irony. Therefore, I must really thank Nanny for providing us all with the most wonderful piece of irony to be seen in a long time.

What irony would that be then Ken?

None other than the arrest, and Nanny's reaction to the arrest, of Lord Levy (fund raiser extraordinaire to the Labour party, and close friend of Blairy Poppins).

Not only was the arrest an utter hoot, but the bleating reaction and hysteria from Nanny and her lackeys a sight to behold.

Seemingly Nanny doesn't think that the arrest was a nice thing to do to one of her own. Nanny has said that the police were not acting in a professional manner, and had overreached themselves.

I find this somewhat ironic given:

• Nanny gave us ASBO's



• Nanny allows British citizens to be rendited (have I spelt this right?) by the CIA



• Nanny allows British airports to be used by the CIA for illegal renditions



• Nanny allows British citizens to be extradited, without sufficient evidence and without reciprocity, to the USA



• Nanny allows British citizens to be shackled in leg chains at Gatwick airport by the FBI



• Nanny allows the FBI to hound/break a British citizen to such an extent, on British soil!, that he commits suicide



• Nanny wants to detain people without trial for 90 days or more



• Nanny and all her friends are lawyers

Seemingly the law is there to be used against the people of Britain, but should never be used against Nanny or her personal friends.

Oooh the irony of it all!
