Running Scared

Just in from Tory HQ, barely one hours since today's article was published and I dropped Cameron an email.

"Dear Mr Frost

Thank you for your email to the Conservative Party.

It is important to note that planning permission is granted on a quasi-legal basis according to regulations laid out by the Government. Councils are required to make any rulings according to these regulations.

The Conservatives have pledged to rethink this policy and for local opinion to be taken into account, to ensure that Councils actions first and foremost represent the needs of the local community.

Thank you for taking the time to write to the Party on this matter.

Yours sincerely

Ken, if anyone thinks that Dave 'Boy Green' Cameron is going to make the slightest change to the shite we are in I am afraid they are in for a rude awakening when he pedals his eco bicycle up to number 10 as wee gordy skips out the back door to his waiting limo to the gravy train at the EU.

I would rather like to make politicians feel some pain.

  4. An explanation - short-form:
"It's all Labour's fault and once we're in power we promise to think about doing something about the regulations"

    Long-form:
"It's all Labour's fault and once we're in power we definitely going to think about maybe tweaking the regulations around a bit to make people think they actually have a say in what happens"
