ReplyDeleteThey may very well have 2 channels that do not show conventional advertising, but these channels are truly dire.
An endless stream of programmes about buying shit and trying to sell it at a higher price, almost always presented and starring untalented, Yiddish fucktards. With a few idiot quiz shows fronted by smug has-beens thrown in to annoy us even more.
An occasional, memorable comedy, period drama or documentary does not justify the licence tax.
The BBC also own Alibi, Drama, Eden, Gold, Good Food, Home, Really, W, Yesterday and the arrogantly named Dave TV channels. All of which contain adverts.
I can just imagine the ‘brain storming’ session when some condescending bastard was asked what the new channel should be called.
