Wouldn't you look (and feel) very ill, Ken, if you had the task of sorting out the c**p left by Blair?
Good point anon. But more likely as the sleepless nights with his young family. And the jet lag from all the travelling. (Any truth in the rouour that all of the Isle of Wight is to be forested to offset his 'carbon emissions'?)Oh, and his single handed management of the flood response, staying up all night to co-ordinate the sandbagging of a powerstation (or was it an electricity sub-station?) if I heard him correctly. Then there is the book he has written and the launch parties for that. The Russians - bit off more than he can swallow there I suspect. I'm sure Putin has plenty of insider experience spotting the weaknesses of a failing society. But the real reason may simply be that now he has the job he is crapping himself wondering what to do with it and how to set things up so that others make all the decisions but it looks like he is in full control.Or his team is not managing the lighting of the TV interviews as competently as B'liar's did.
Could it be his wife feels that after the hell they endured starting their family and the fact that his family needs a lot of support that maybe he should not be in the job and is not happy, he has put himself in a truly awkward corner and I don't think the ''..step down to spend time with family'' speech is far away
Interesting idea Elaine. How long does he have to remaihn PM to get the big boost to his pension fund?
I have no idea, but as I have nowhere else to say this I will have to here. If Shambo had been a symbol of the Islamic faith, would the "powers that be" been so quick to kill it? Sorry about being off topic but I'm interested to know if anyone else has noticed a double standard.
