Nanny's Little Helpers - Catch Them Young

Nanny's Little Helpers
Ah die gut alt tags have returned with a vengeance.

Nanny has taken a little lesson from the history books, and is employing a rather nasty little technique once used by the Nazis.

Nanny's Gauliters in her local councils are employing children to act as spies.

Catch them young and they will yours forever!

The Telegraph reports that one in six councils contacted have signed up children to be "environment volunteers".

Sounds nice and cuddly and greeny doesn't it?

Errmmm...maybe not.

For you see dear readers Nanny's little helpers are being encouraged to photograph and video people who infringe local council rules; eg dog fouling, littering and Nanny's most heinous of all crimes...

BIN CRIMES!!!!

As an added bonus the kids are being paid £500 a pop by some councils.

Seems to me a clever kid and parent could come up with a nice little money making scheme, whereby the kid's reward exceeds the council's fine.

Nanny refers to these new recruits as "covert human intelligence sources", they will pass on the names and number plates of neighbours who are guilty of breaking Nanny's laws.

A recipe for all sorts of petty neighbourhood vendettas to be started and settled!

I wonder what kind of adults these kids will turn into?

Ealing Council said:

"There are hundreds of Junior Streetwatchers, aged 8-10 years old, who are trained to identify and report enviro-crime issues such as graffiti and fly-tipping."

Some kids are assigned code numbers, which they use instead of their real names when they ring a special informer's hotline.

Completely ghastly and very frightening!

Is this the type of thing we are likely to see more off as we are taken deeper and deeper into the EUSSR?....I suspect this is just one of many "joys" we will see, once Great Britain is but a mere region of the socialist superstate that is The EUSSR!!!

  2. " . . . as we are taken deeper and deeper into the EUSSR."

I saw yesterday in The Telegraph that the EU is contemplating the prohibiton of any advertising deemed sexist, sexually stereotyping, or sexually objectifying by the PC fascists manning . . .ermmm, staffing, some EU Ministry of Gender Equality.

  3. The bastards who dreamt this up really do need a good shoeing. It's disturbing, Orwellian, and particularly creepy to use children that young. It's also a bit weird that 8 year olds are thought responsible enough to gather evidence and report on crimes to their local authorities masters (spits) but are not yet old enough to be held legally responsible themselves. And when they're getting 500 quid bungs from the Ealing taxpayer (via some townhall pricks responsible for this fucking nightmare) it could get interesting in a court.

But on the other hand it might go tits up on its own if some young entrepreneurs notice that if they're all under ten they can shop each other and no action can be taken against any of them. Shop your mate, watch him get off, give him his cut of the money later on, ker-ching. Playstations and iPods all round thanks indirectly to local taxpayers. I really hope some kids do take advantage this way to show what a moronic as well as sinister scheme it is.

The EU is pure sodding evil. It is supported by all the main parties. That is why I vote UKIP and urge everyone to do so at the next election.

As these little creeps are under the age of criminal (or any other) responsibilty, how can their evidence be acceptable in court: "I swear upon my copy of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban that my evidence shall be ..."

I wonder how well the little mobile carbon units have been vetted for immunity to bribery.

The sad thing about this is that the idiots who dream up these ideas can't see anything wrong with them.

Manipulating and exploiting children in this way is wrong. Encouraging them to spy on and report adults is disgusting. I'm sure it is also illegal. Child labour was outlawed in Britain in the 19th Century.

The United Nations and the International Labor Organization consider child labour exploitative, with the UN stipulating, in article 32 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child that:

...States Parties recognize the right of the child to be protected from economic exploitation and from performing any work that is likely to be hazardous or to interfere with the child's education, or to be harmful to the child's health or physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development.

In many developed countries, it is considered inappropriate or exploitative if a child below a certain age works, excluding household chores or schoolwork. An employer is often not allowed to hire a child below a certain age. This minimum age depends on the country; child labour laws in the United States set the minimum age to work in an establishment without parents' consent and restrictions at age 16.

The work is likely to be hazardous because, in effect, it expects children to interact with adults in a way that could be confrontational. Have these councillors conducted a risk assessment for the safety of the children paid to operate as their "covert surveillance agents"?

If this story is not economic explotation I don't know what is. I suggest that formal complaints about these councils are made to the United Nations and that the councillors responsible are named as inciting the economic exploitation of children. You could begin by bringing this to the attention of your MP or making a formal complaint against the specific council concerned to the local police, citing the UN regulations.

Having failed everywhere else in the world the communist/fascist hybrids in Britain are really tearing the arse out of it, aren't they?

  11. It isn't just bribery - there is the possibility of blackmail: "Give me twenty quid or I'll report you to the council for litter dropping".

I have drawn this article to the attention of one of David Cameron's shadow cabinet colleagues, and said I hope that he will stamp on it hard and publicly. But as the leading 'hawk' for this policy on Ealing Council is a Tory I don't hold out much hope....

    Evening all,

PC Dixon, you are correct. This idiocy must be reported and destroyed using the very avenues nanny so loves - human rights, what happens,as you state, to child labour laws, protection of kids, what happens when some hapless little sod is beaten to a pulp by some chav he/she is reporting for pissing up a wall or putting out the 'wrong' rubbish etc.

Fight nanny using the old witches own laws. Failing that we could burn the old witch at the stake.

  15. Great, I assume this is now the "in" way to teach kids about honesty and fair play "heres 500 quid to rat up a neighbour, whos likely doing exactly that same things as your parents"
Classy... no wonder some of the little buggers are turning out so bad....
