Nanny's Bloody Database

Database

I see that Nanny has been quietly building a DNA database, using blood samples taken from millions of newborn babies.

The blood samples are taken to check for serious conditions. However, despite giving new mums a nice little leaflet explaining why the samples are taken, what Nanny doesn't tell the mums is:

1 How long the hospitals will store the samples.

2 That the records can be accessed by police, coroners and medical researchers.

Some places are, apparently, keeping the samples on record for more than 20 years.

  1. Doesn't surprise me at all.....As younger generations are brainwashed by the state's indoctrination/education system into thinking constant monitoring etc is normal and desirable, so the resistance to such schemes as this one will be eliminated.....This will prepare the population for microchipping at birth.....All for our own good, protection, security, etc etc....After all, if you've nothing to hide........

    Sinister!

The state has decided that you are a potential suspect at birth.

  3. On a similar vein, my eldest came home from school one day with black smudge all over his thumb. He explained how they've taken a thumb print for the school library of all things. Clearly the old ticket system was perfectly functional, so I can only imagine that there is similar chicanery going on in the background.

I wonder who, exactly, now has access to my son's thumb print?

Interestingly, after the deed was done (note, not *before*) the school proudly announced how they've now implemented this "great" new system...

*sigh* It won't be long before new-borns are tatooed with an ID barcode before they leave hospital: purely in the interests of keeping them safe. "Won't somebody think of the children?!"

  5. I am not 100% sure about the authenticity of this.

If the samples are taken from new born babies how exactly are they labeled and stored? After all, new born babies do not yet have names and it may be a few weeks before the parents actually decide on a name for their potty-goblin.

Some places are, apparently, keeping the samples on record for more than 20 years.

Does that mean that this practice has been going on for 20 years or more and we are only hearing about it now?

  6. Gary, every newborn has an NHS number assigned to them. Their actual forename, therefore, is not important to the database.

  7. Thanks for the info Potato, but I am a bit thick and still do not understand.

Does the NHS number 'follow' an individual around for the rest of their lives?

My son was born in the UK and I have never seen his NHS number on any official document (he is now 18). He may have been given one at birth, but I don't recall.

If I conceed that the NHS number was given, then it certainly isn't shown on his birth certificate. So how is it cross referenced?

Is the assumption that there is some sort of database which has been in existance for over 20 years which can handle such information?

Based on the governments efforts to create databases, I doubt it.

To all those dissidents who subscribe to sites such as this, and who oppose us: "We know who you are, and where you and your families live. Conform, or we will come for you and take you away to be 're-educated'!
