ReplyDeleteLast week we heard that a sauce manufacturer was advising that their products should only be eaten every so often because of the high levels of sugar and salt.
I imagine that every student in the country knows how to make a Bolognese sauce. Tomatoes, tomato puree, onion, basil, oregano and thyme would be the basic ingredients, although there are many variations from the classic.
What nobody would think of putting in the sauce is a handful of fucking sugar, but when you buy the stuff, ready made from the supermarkets, that is exactly what you get.
How can people take FULL responsibility for what they eat when supermarkets insist on selling basic food stuffs that contain obscene amounts of unexpected shit in them?
