  1. When I was at prep school(my dad dropped me off in the mornings) I had to catch 3 buses to get home. That was about 12 miles. Every weekday. Rain or shine. Or snow.

To be honest, I am completely fucked off with these people.

There homes burnt and the authorities did not respond too well.

So what?........This was a totally unforeseen incident, without precedent, so who would expect a council to have a well-structured contingency plan?

The council have a responsibility to rehome their tenants, that is all; and I very much doubt if being near their place of work is an issue for most of the affected people.

One mile to go to school is fuck all. When I was a kid I used to walk the 2 miles to my school twice daily.

The council should get their act together. Tell the illegal immigrants who were living in the tower block to fuck off back to where they came from, prosecute their tenants that were sub-letting their apartments, and then tell the other whinging bastards that they can accept the accommodation offered, or go back to living in a shed in the shit hole country that they came from.

    Fuck the lot of them.

Heard one moaning about the £5k they were immediately handed, saying that his TV and bed had cost more. Hell, I couldn't afford £5k+ for a bed and telly, but then I'm not one of the favoured.
