    Happy Easter Ken.
I wonder how many more we will be able to celebrate. Good Friday used to be very much like a Sunday but yesterday, shops were open, buses were running and hardly a Christian reference on the TV. How times change.
All I saw last night on channel five, were Dot Gov ads threatening me and telling me how to live my life.

So, is it ethical to wish someone a "Happy" Easter, given the supposed Historical context?

    Tonk.

I assume that Nanny's all pervasive advertising spend will grease the wheels of the Advertising "industry" nicely for suitable spin support when Nanny needs it.

In the Saturday Colour supplement of the Daily Mail today there was a full colour full page ad for the outfit that sells people 'personalised' number plates. It is of course robbery (in most cases) that people have not seen through yet and especially disingenuous when you consider that Nanny abuses the finances of nearly all vehicle owners and drivers in multiple ways.

    I feel a need for a campaign ...

  4. Dear Ken,

No need to remind you how Nanny feels about eggs. Yet another toxic threat, especially when dipped in psychadelic, and potentially psychosis-inducing, food dyes.

Anyway, up hers and Happy Easter.

Easter greetings to you too, Ken and to the other gentleman survivors from another age who visit here.

It was a four egg scramble, bacon and fried bread for me this morning, followed by a ridiculous amount of chocolate and the requisite two fingers up at Nanny.

  7. Dear Ken,

Nanny has apparently, of late, been active in the Antipodes.

    According to an Aussie newspaper:

"Good Friday should be dumped as a public holiday and replaced with a national reconciliation day recognising Aborigines, a Melbourne cleric says."

The entire article is here .

At risk of it turning into an all-male gentleman's club ...

Easter greetings also to the female contributors: Alice, Debbie, Jales etc.
