Nanny Hates Salt

I see that Nanny is bleating about the amount of salt in our diets again.

This time she expresses concern for the children, and the fact that their diets are (apparently) awash with too much salt.

The source of all of this salt?

Seemingly a large amount comes from breakfast cereals, which as anyone knows are in effect a massive waste of money and space. Kids would be better off eating the cardboard box that the cereal came in, along with the plastic toy inside.

Anyhoo, Nanny is very concerned and wants the salt level cut.

I have a far simpler solution, just add extra sugar to the cereal; thus cancelling out the effects of the salt.

Simples!

Visit The Orifice of Government Commerce and buy a collector's item.

Visit The Joy of Lard and indulge your lard fantasies.

Show your contempt for Nanny by buying a T shirt or thong from Nanny's Store.

  1. Human kind require some salt just to survive.
There is some irony in Nanny's one size fits all advice(sic) Mankind are programmed to seek out salt, fat and sugars....All the things Nanny hates.

I repeat my advice yet again; Everything in moderation.

There is another problem which Nanny fails to address and that is this; many people hang on Nanny's every word and all this "advice"(sic) from Nanny, will worry some people a great deal and cause them great stress and anxiety. This stress and worry may well be more harmful than the extra teaspoon of sugar or pinch of salt that Nanny has got herself so worked up over.

Incidently, in case anyone's interested or are having a similar problem, I was unable to post on here for a while because IE kept crashing and Firefox would just delete the post when publish was clicked......I am now using Google Chrome to post on this blog and it appears to be working fine.......

The best way to avoid problems relating to Internet Explorer and Firefox-on-Windows is to install Linux on your computer. I am using Firefox on UbuntuStudio 13.10 right now; no probs with this site, no viruses, no crashes, no prob. with machine getting slower as time goes on, no probs with Nannyish governments shoving their noses up your computer's backend!
