Mmmm....A modern version of the wartime campaign "Careless talk costs life."

With so many of our service personnel on active service in wars and countries we have no business being involved in and all the resentment that involvement brings, for once, I think this is actually a display of commonsense by MOD Nanny, assuming it is aimed only at service personnel.

Is it just me or are we using our forces in much the same way that Korea, the old Soviet Block and China used to use theirs?...More and more we are seeing uniformed state military personnel involved in things they shouldn't be involved in, such as carrying cups or providing escorts at sporting events......We constantly hear in the media these people referred to as heros(a word all too often over used today)....We see these workers getting freebies ahead of the general population(Olympic tickets for example).
Please, don't get me wrong; I support our military personnel, but I feel they are being manipulated by the state and used as a propaganda tool by the state just as other communist states used to.....Is this rise in "military nationalism" just a coincidence or is it a direct result of being in the new soviet style super state which is the EUSSR?

I support our armed services but I cannot support their current missions.

  2. I've never understood why people would want to share every aspect of their lives.

Does the world and his dog really need to know that you've just had a crap???
