ReplyDeleteMost of our local schools are closed, but I believe it is because teachers cannot get to those schools. As a kid, I loved snow and I never remember my school closing because of teachers being unable to get to them, mind you, then we had steam railways, open back buses and trolly buses and very basic cars. Teachers were not the PC whimps they are now and most were men, not girlies. Have we really progressed for the better?
