I shall resolutely stick within recommended alcohol limits, I shall also diligently fill in all risk-assessment forms before setting out and wear a hi-viz vest walking back from the pub to alert drivers of my presence.

    Like hell I will.

    Enjoy.

  3. I have just done a formal audit of my alcohol consumption for (Calendar Year) 2012 - and find to my shame (nay-horror) I have woefully failed to meet NANNY'S limits.
It will, I admit, be a bit of challenge to catch up in the one remaining week - but a local Supermarket has whisky at around a tenner, which- with suitable additives - can be rendered quaff-able in emergencies.

  4. Merry Christmas one and all.....I am now too pissed to write any thing else and too bloated to move.

Have it large and just laugh at hi-viz.

  6. It was so mild last night that I was able to sit outside my local watching the much expanded river roar by while enjoying a smoke and several large Glenmorangies.

    Merry Xmas to you.
