Could it possibly be that councils are having to decimate essential public services BECAUSE they have so many executives and consultants on £100,000+ salaries? I also understand that our illustrious prime minister has expressed concern over the fact that his own local authority are introducing cuts of this nature. I wonder if he'd express such compassion towards such cuts in a constituency whose M.P, with a big majority, i.e not a marginal seat, was from a party other than the Conservatives? No, I didn't think so!
ReplyDeleteDear Mr Frost
ReplyDeleteAs far as I am aware, companies and charities - even fake charities - are required to publish the number of employees in each £10,000 band over £60,000pa.
Are councils exempt from this? Is it not a requirement of their annual financial reports?
Nothing to hide, nothing to fear?
