A Nation of Paedophiles

Nanny is Mother, Nanny is Father
It is official, Nanny has decreed that all British adults are paedophiles unless they can prove otherwise.

That is the conclusion that we must draw from the absurd rules being imposed by Reigate and Banstead Council, which insists that all football players in the local park (Woodmansterne Recreation Grounds in Banstead) have a criminal records check.

Now why is this such an idiotic rule?

Just ask Darren Chapman, who was trying to play football with his children and their 7 year old friends.

Can you guess what happened children?

Yes, that's right, because Mr Chapman refused to have a CRB check he was arrested when trying to play football with his own family. He spent 5 hours in jail for his "crime" of not obeying the council.

The council demands that all players must undergo a criminal records check, pay for insurance (aha...kerching!!!!) and apply for formal permission for the game.

Mr Chapman, who was eventually released without charge, said:

"All we want to do is have a kickabout with the lads twice a week so they can keep sharp for when their league's training starts again, and we can't."

The troubles began when Mr Chapman began staging regular games for his children and their seven-year-old friends at Woodmansterne Recreation Grounds in Banstead, Surrey.

The local council, Reigate and Banstead Council, told him in February to stop the activity immediately and demanded proof of a Criminal Records Bureau check, insurance and that he make a formal request to use the park area for organised training activities.

Mr Chapman ignored the knobheads in the council, and continued the games regardless. On July 1 Mr Chapman organised a protest picnic, the police arrived at the grounds and arrested him.

Seemingly the police had it in their minds that Mr Chapman was threatening to cause "criminal damage".

A jobsworth from the local council said:

"Unfortunately, although Mr Chapman has been advised on how he can work with the council to obtain the authorised use of the designated areas, to date he has failed to comply with the council's usual procedure."

There you are folks, if you don't obey your local council's rules and regulations you will be arrested!

The enemy of the people is the state and its local lickspittles the councils.

A Surrey Police spokesman gave a meaningless response, saying that their "actions were proportionate throughout the arrest procedure" and subsequent enquiry.

Brain dead bureaucrats who choose not to think about what they are doing always trot out the line that "procedures were followed". They ignore the bleeding obvious point that the procedures may well be bollocks, and that people should use their brains and take the initiative when dealing with the "real world".

Sadly the wrong people are employed by Nanny in the wrong jobs, and the people of Britain are suffering as a result of this.

There will be a reckoning though, as those who live and work in the real world react against the increased taxes and demands being made upon them by Nanny to support her ever burgeoning public sector.

Nanny's child centric policies assume that all adults are paedophiles, unless they pay to prove otherwise. This creates a very nasty and unhealthy divide between children and adults, which is contributing to the feral nature of some of Britain's streets; as adults and children split off into their own little self contained worlds.

Nanny is the child abuser here, not the British public.

BTW, it's a Tory council of course.

..those who live and work in the real world react against the increased taxes and demands being made upon them by Nanny to support her ever burgeoning public sector..

I fully and wholeheartedly agree, but how are we going to achieve this? We've already realised (too late) that all the parties with any clout are all the same behind the scenes, so it's down to us to try and cut off their air(money) supply. I seem to remember that in the old days you could try and withhold a proportion of your rates if you disagreed with Council policy, but now I think its not as straightforward. Any ideas?

I'm featuring in the Ealing remake of The Invasion of The Sanity Snatchers.

Whenever I walk around my country now I do so with the expectation that suddenly everyone will stop, point and scream at me with a single alien note.

Does anyone know of a decent rest-home for single, white, "childless", non-Muslim threats like me? One that doesn't have a contract with the Soylent Green factory? Preferably one on the coast, with cliffs, just in case I decide to do the decent thing and remove myself from this gigantic nursery complex "we" have built.

Wanders off to collect and mix some everyday household chemicals in the correct proportions... tugs at his pyjama cord for fuses... twitches, nervously and whistles in the New Darkness...

  3. Anyone who still doesn’t realise that the people running this country are stark staring bonkers should read this and the comments on it:

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/education/education-news/eleven-million-names-on-school-vetting-database-1750103.html

The Home Office blithely tells us that in five years’ time 11.3 million people will have had to register on this database, paying £64 each for the ‘privilege’ – conveniently raising about £360 million revenue for the government . And there is no guarantee that this is a once-for-all payment, and won’t be subject to periodic updating.

What appals me is that so many people are still apparently happy to be subjected to this degree of Big Brother surveillance. What I am always asking – and never receive any answer – is “who are the anonymous snoopers who apply these vetting procedures, and are they also vetted and if so by whom?”

The government’s own Q and A on the scheme says:

    “Q54. Can anyone make referrals?

“Yes. The ISA (Independent Safeguarding Authority) is duty bound to consider all information it receives, regardless of the source. However, we would encourage members of the public, if they have concerns, to first contact the appropriate statutory agency, e.g. the police or Local Authority.

“Q51. How will the ISA deal with false or malicious allegations?

“Staff and board members at the ISA have a wide range of expertise, including allegations management. The ISA will scrutinise any information it receives and will only bar a person if its own criteria for barring are satisfied.”

‘Allegations management’ is a new one on me. I have run and attended many training courses, and am most curious to know how someone is trained to ‘manage allegations’. One method, I suppose, would be to mix them all up in a bran tub, fish half a dozen out, and say “They’re the guilty ones”.

I’ve never heard such totally pretentious newspeak twaddle in my life.

The truth of the article is here:

Nanny is the child abuser here, not the British public.

  5. Surely not just parents and those who voluntarily work with children, but all adults are being abused - and insulted - by this Kafkaesque stuff.

And what sort of parents are these overprotected children going to be? Some of them will be brainwashed zombies and the others ferally antisocial tearaways.

I'm glad I won't still be around then.

There was none of this paranoid child protection nonsense when I was a child. We were brought up to use our own common sense and judgement about strangers.

The creepiest adults I remember were a tub-thumping evangelical family who periodically used to visit all the local schools to inform us children in the most pijawing way that they were 'saved', washed in the blood of Jesus, etc. etc. The son was eventually arrested for suspicious behaviour at the Olympia Childrens' Exhibition. Is there a moral somewhere?

Under EUSSR/NULABOUR we are all 'criminals' until we can prove otherwise to their satisfaction. Meanwhile, our taxes pay for the parks the kids play in and the wages of the socialist scum that opprese us. Revolution anyone?

  7. While generally agreeing with your comments re nanny states, I'm not sure we are getting the full story here about Mr Chapman - try googling and finding the local newspaper story for example, which gives a different impression altogether. And if all the children in those pictures are his family, he must have a really big house!

As long as you keep paying for the 'service' they will keep on providing it.

The day that the British wake up and realize that all they have to do is TOGETHER stop paying the bill for their own oppression is the day that it will end.

Not a shot needs to be fired, not a demo marched on. A simple, nationwide refusal to pay for the local authorities until they shrink down and provide only the services that are asked for, cease the nanny state spying and control freakery and assume the posture of SERVANTS of the people who pay them, not the MASTERS or OWNERS.

  10. An excellent article here:

    http://www.spiked-online.com/index.php/site/article/7162/

The author says "civil society simply cannot function on this basis". But do we still live in a civil society? What we have now doesn't feel like one to me.

It's all very well giving David Camerons's e-mail address but it would be better to also ruffle a few self-righteous feathers at the council itself.

Coming back to the issue of symptoms versus underlying causes.

This story in particular and the whole issue of CRB checks in general, are symptoms.

The underlying cause is the massive feminisation of our society that's taken place in recent years.

    The explosion of political correctness.
The perception of threats around every corner.
The Harriet Harman handbook of 'positive' discrimination.
The increased complexity of how our society now works.
The OTT response to perceived risk.
The current frenzy over Swine Flu ....

They're all symptoms, and while the feminisation continues, the symptoms will multiply.

"The underlying cause is the massive feminisation of our society that's taken place in recent years."

During the day I have Radio 4 on as wallpaper, and during this week's Woman's Hour one bra-burner stated that "the war against men was won". Goes to show the mentality of a significant number of wimmin.

Why the **** should he? ImIn this country, a man is innocent until proven guilty.

"The enemy of the people is the state and its local lickspittles the councils."

    Couldn't agree more.

"A Surrey Police spokesman gave a meaningless response, saying that their 'actions were proportionate throughout the arrest procedure' and subsequent enquiry."

No they weren't. They were acting like the gestapo, or the police force or armies of certain countries condemned for their human rights violations by our hypocritical politicians.

  15. Good on Mr Chapman. Everyone needs to start taking a stand and not just complain about the idiot council and police. Spiked has a good related article

    http://www.spiked-online.com/index.php/site/article/7162/

Civil society needs to regain some common sense and stop itself getting carried away with the hysteria that the media whips up whenever some tragedy occurs.

  16. I'm suprised you haven't picked up on this one too: http://carnalnation.com/content/12357/4/jk-rowling-must-register-potential-pedophile

Authors such as J.K. Rowling & Phillip Pullman will have to pay £64 in order to undergo background checks and go on a special register if they intend to continue to visit schools.

Obviously, most of them are simply saying that they will stop their visits.

Way to go Nanny, you've successfully stopped some of the greatest children's writers from inspiring our kids. What a great victory!

@NC100 ..will have to pay £64 in order to undergo background checks

Yes, I read about that too, and if I understand the situation it'll be a recurring charge as they'll need to be re-vetted from time to time. After all, who's to say they won't suddenly turn into paedophiles..

I've just been reading the official government Powerpoint presentation, which says "This includes roles such as:
Teachers, Children’s sports coaches, Childcare workers, Private tutors, Probation officers, Prison officers, Care workers, People advising ‘ChildLine’ callers, Nurses & GPs, Youth workers, Domiciliary care workers, Dentists, Osteopaths,
    Opticians, Contracted Taxi drivers,
Volunteers in the sector,Driving Instructors". That's a lot of paedophiles! We're in more trouble than we thought..

Check 'em all! The sooner everyone in this damned country is vetted the better. Then we can all sleep safely and soundly in our cells.

'Scuse me for asking but when exactly did the smelly, snotty, screaming, disease-ridden little part-formed purely potential "people" technically referred to as "children" become so - supposedly - sexually or otherwise attractive?

...especially given that something like 143.27% of paedophile attackes and abuses take place WITHIN that glorious and sacrosanct shining light of social development, the Family.

Genuflects, mutters the words "Ahh Family" and backs away from the Government Altar (and the Altar Boys)...

  20. It's a total disgrace that we let these prying morons run our local councils. Of course, the power is with us the electorate. We should get a grip of ourselves first, then get rid of these sanctimonious toads!
