The local council wishes all citizens a non homophobic non ageist and non islamaphobic winterval season.

Leaflets on how to adhere to alcohol units and avoidance of winterval decorations that may offend muslims as well as notices not to burn log fires in the grate to combt global warming, where to recycle all your cards, Christmas trees, unwanted presents and 7 million other winterval rules that will be enforced by Winterval Compliance officers will soon be arriving through the post all paid for from your taxes.

Your local council looks forward to interfering in your lives as much as possible in 2010 as well as raising the tax that allows us to do so.

OK - we are all sick of the way the country is run; the way politicians are only in it for themselves; the way small minded people have the biggest voices; and the way our country has been taken from us, the ordinary people.

How about we form a new party in the new year and we, the ordinary people, contest the next election ?

A party which is for: much less state control; a government which is there for the people, not itself and those in it; less pointless waste of taxpayers money; politicians, ministers and top civil servants who are prepared to do the job for a reasonable wage and no more; a country which we all want to live in, and not leave because of the incompetence of those who manage its affairs; and a party which is very much in favour of the application of some simple common sense.

    Think about it.

... and in the meantime have a very Happy Christmas !

My local council seem to be avoiding me - maybe due to by brass necked cheek of complaining?

    They can get stuffed...

Happy Christmas to you Ken, and your good lady, and I look forward (unfortunately) to more stupid Nannying next year!!!

Re "new party"...I refer you to the Repeal Party which you can find out about by using the search box on this site:)

David Cameron, oddly enough, has not answered my email about it:)

  10. Ken,

Thanks for another year of administering this site and offering up these posts. I remember that you once said that when you started NKB, you weren't sure there'd be enough Nannydom for a new post every day, but you needn't have worried. In fact, the problem is all of Nanny's antics that go unposted, due to lack of space and time. Indeed.

Best to all your readers as well. Perhaps Nanny will suffer a blow in 2010.

To Ken, Eva, Rosie and everyone at Nanny Knows Best.

Wishing and praying that you have a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2010.

May our lives be interesting only in good ways and may Nanny-types stay far away from all of us (hopefully they will see the light and then be treated graciously and not with vengeance).
